About

We are a husband and wife team who, truth be told, cannot remember exactly how our dream of starting our own photography and videography business even became a thing!

We were both born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up taking pictures and making what we thought at the time were top-notch video masterpieces with our friends. When we started dating, most weekends we would grab our cameras, hop in the car, and drive for hours finding interesting places to take pictures. Our famous photo adventures are something we continue to do and a huge part of how we take time to connect, find inspiration, and spend quality time together.

Over the years, we have had the honor of capturing beautiful moments for our family and friends. At a certain point in time, we both had this moment where we looked at each other and realized this is something we want to do to help people in our community.

We both have spent the better part of our professional careers working in education, and at our core we are two people who are natural-born helpers. It’s who we are, it’s how we were raised, and it’s a big part of what brought us together. For years we have dreamed of starting our own photography business together. We have spent hours talking about it in the car, walking through our neighborhood, doing our dishes, and cuddling on the couch with our cat Sully almost every night of the week. It has been something that has pulled on our hearts for a long time and we decided it was time to take a leap of faith and chase our dream together.

Revel is a word we kept using to describe our dream – to capture these joy-filled moments and help people celebrate the heck out of them! Which brings us to the creation of The Revel Company. Thank you for being here and we can’t wait to meet you and share your stories.
